Project Title:	A bespoke shower enclosure specifically designed to fit a complex loft conversion
The Client:	Mr A Kakoullis
Overview:	When Shower Power were selected to install a shower enclosure in Mr Kakoullis’ north London home, they were faced with a number of complex and potentially time consuming obstacles that could have set the job back many days or weeks. However, these obstacles were overcome thanks to experience and attention to detail.
The Brief:	Mr Kakoullis had recently converted his loft and was using the space as a gym, with a shower room to one side in the eaves. A wet room had been installed and an enclosure was desired to enhance it and make the area more water tight.
The Project: Issues Overcome	Due to the unusual angle of the ceiling, the installation of the door and shower panel was not straightforward. Both the door and fixed panel needed to be cut to suit, and to ensure that the enclosure retained as much moisture as possible, special consideration when fitting was needed. This detail also meant that the bottom 100mm of the fixed panel needed to be frosted in order to hide the tiles. Because of the complex nature of the shape and the floor levels, hard board templates were produced on site to enable a made to measure design. By designing a bespoke solution, Mr Kakoullis was able to benefit from a frameless Vetro shower enclosure despite the unusual wall and ceiling layout of his loft conversion.
The Outcome:	Within just two weeks the entire project, despite its difficulties, was completed and the client delighted with the results. “I found all the team at Shower Power very professional and a real pleasure to deal with. Project Title:	Large shower enclosure installed in old building under an unmatchable timescale
The Client:	Liphook, Hampshire
Overview:	With a fast approaching deadline and a far from perfect working environment, Shower Power successfully surveyed for, manufactured and installed a large shower enclosure within seven days for this domestic client who had been let down by other shower enclosure installation companies.
Selection:	The initial enquiry for this project came via a plumbing contractor who had worked with Shower Power previously. The client required a large enclosure at short notice, with two competing companies who had also quoted saying they could not complete the job in time. Shower Power accepted the challenge, confident of completion on budget and on time.
The Brief:	Works: Shower Power were required to survey, manufacture and install a large shower enclosure measuring 1.6m in width by 1m in depth and 2.1m in height. Deadlines: Two competing companies had pulled out of the project due to their inability to meet the seven day deadline. Shower Power however was confident in meeting the deadline thanks to their long term experience and connections. Timings: Due to the deadline, the decision was taken to survey the sight on the Friday, allowing for manufacturing to start over the weekend to ensure the deadline would be met.
The Project: Issues Overcome	The project was complicated by the age of the property; all of the walls and floor were far from square and undulated, even after the extensive efforts of a tiling contractor. This meant that installation would take longer than expected and therefore two expert Shower Power installation team members spent a full day working on installing the enclosure, including focusing on the detailed silicone sealing required.
The Outcome:	A substantial domestic project completed on time courtesy of a team flexible enough to work out of hours. “The shower door looks fantastic – a very professional job!”
